Welcome to the Bloom And Glow Quilt Resources Page!
Here you'll find a full video tutorial that walks you through how to make each of the blocks in the Bloom And Glow quilt. If you only want to see how to make an individual block, you can do that too by watching the individual block video tutorials.
The Bloom And Glow quilt pattern is listed as an intermediate skill level; however, I wanted to provide additional resources here to help make this project more approachable to quilters who are wanting to stretch their skill set and who may not have had as much experience with certain techniques (sewing curves, trimming curves, trimming HRTs, etc.). If that's you, kudos for taking on a new challenge!
If you have any questions after utilizing these resources, please reach out to me here or email hello@heckyessewco.com and I'll do my best to assist in any way I can!

Individual Block Video Tutorials
If you'd like to only view how to make a specific block rather than watching the entire video above, just follow the links below and they will take you to where the specific blocks are shown in the full video tutorial.

Petal Block Alternative Method
There are many ways to construct the Petal Block. In the pattern the method is to add both T2 pieces to T1 then trim all 4 sides in one step (this is so that any distortion that happens from sewing on the second curved piece, happens prior to trimming). I also find this method quicker for me since I'm only stopping to trim once.

The alternative method is a more common and traditional way to construct the Petal Block. I wanted to include the steps for this method as an option. Please choose the method that works best for you!
